Smokey Valley Farm has been in operation since 1976.  We enjoy exhibiting our small Micro/Mini Cattle, the Micro/Miniature Zebu. Here at Smokey Valley we are proving the quality of all our registered stock by showing / exhibiting them, so all can enjoy their quality, type and temperament. The public so enjoys seeing these unusual breeds. And as always we are committed breeders of quality small cattle as per their breed standards. They are all fully registered with both associations, IMZA and AMZA. We are known world wide for our superior animals, both in our Miniature Aussie Dogs and now our Micro/Miniature Zebu. Rick and Michelle Shannon have over 50 years of experience and are passionate about exceeding your expectations, with a superior customer experience and value. Both of us were born and raised on a farm so have our whole lives of experience in animal husbandry and their care. Resulting in the environment that is essential for good health and long lives in our livestock.  We have found the Micro/Miniature Zebu here at Smokey Valley Farm to be easy keepers and easy care with a life span average of 18 to 22+ years as a breed and we do all we can to promote a long and healthy life for our cattle. Our goal is to produce both quality and superior breed type as well as the SMALL size our customers are searching for but seldom finding till now. ALL our cows are tested free of the dwarf gene and are just this small as per the breed and years of selective breeding.
